Just that really.
Do you give your children any vitamins? Vitamin d during winter months etc?

No they eat a balanced diet so do not require them. Excessive vitamin consumption can have side effects that many are not aware of.

It’s hard to eat your way to enough vitamin d in Northern Europe in winter though.

Sambucol Black Elderberry Gummies. I really believe they make a difference. Also, an Actimel yoghurt drink. DS is 4.

That's great for you and your DC, but unfortunately some of us have kids who are fussy eaters and need the additional nutritional support. Plus you can't eat Vitamin D, it can only be absorbed through the skin and my GP said everyone in the northern hemisphere needs a supplement because we don't get enough sunshine.

Vitamin D in winter
When they had small appetites I gave them multivitamin drops.

The NHS advises to take Vitamin D in winter.

@SickAndTiredAgain

What vitamins do people give younger kids? I see the chewable ones but they are often 3+ (is that due to choking risk or vitamin content?) and DD is 2.5. Any recommendations for under 3s? I know you can get vitamin d drops but I’ve also read the NHS recommendation to give a other vitamins up to the age of 5, can you get drops for those?

Have you actually checked? Assuming you're getting adequate vit D from diet is likely a faulty assumption They'd need about 3 cans of tuna or 20 egg yolks daily

Seems unlikely
