Toddler teeth

My son is 20 months and has had what I thought was very thin enamel from when his teeth first came through.
His front teeth have deteriorated quite quickly in the last month and one now has a very visible chip out of it.
I have taken him to two local dentists who are completely disinterested unless he is in pain, which he is not, yet!
From what I can understand in the UK dentists are not interested in baby teeth unless they are severely decayed and at the point they pull them.
Does anyone know of any dentists that could help us? Particularly north west based but happy to travel wherever. Or does anyone have similar experiences with their toddler or aware of anything I can be doing to prevent the deterioration. Conscious of how young he is and really don't want them getting significantly worse 😟

I've stopped practising now but I don't think there would be many people looking to treat that in a 20 year old. I think the focus would be on prevention and making sure diet and hygiene are spot on for now.

@Mrsmorton Thank you for your response. Yes this is what I understand from the dentists we have seen. He isn't a big eater and certainly not much sugar and we give his teeth as good of a brush as he will allow at least once a day!
Are you aware of anything further that we can be doing as a preventative measure?
I'm concerned because of how quickly they have deteriorated in the last month. I really don't want him to get to the point of pain and desperately needing treatment, or for them to be pulled!

What does he drink OP? Do you use adult toothpaste? Are you a regular attender yourself? I know it's been a nightmare during covid but getting him used to going to the dentist even if they don't look at him is super important.
