My 2.5 year old has been sick for almosyb2 weeks. She started off with diarrhoea for about a week but was happy with it. I planned to take her to the doctor after it has been a week and that night she threw up all night. The doctor sent us to a&e and we got a fluid chart and we're sent home.
She's slowly got better over the last 7 days but she's still throwing up once a day (at 5pm the last 3 days). She's eating a bit and drinking OK (I'm not worried about dehydration). She's also started attempting to play for short periods and is a bit more talkative, but she's so exhausted. She njsg wants to lie down most of the day having cuddles.
She's never been poorly this long before and I'm a bit worried. The worst of it has been the last week. Have any of you had similar experiences where the length of illness has been this long?
Am I worrying for nothing or should I take her back to the docs?

Has she had a urine and stool sample done?
