DD (2.5) was sick a couple of times Wednesday and Thursday morning last week. Since then she’s been fine, seemed back to her normal self from Friday, was running around a playground yesterday and was at nursery today. But she’s just been sick again (quite a bit more than any time last week). Is this just the same bug continuing? Is this normal sometimes, there was 4.5 days between the last sickness and tonight. She seemed completely fine, went to bed fine, but woke up crying after about an hour and then was sick. She’s now just gone pretty much straight back to sleep, no fever (didn’t have one at any point), no other signs of illness at all.

Hi OP my DD is 11 and we’ve all had a sickness bug this weekend. Hers was first on Friday and she was better within 24 hours. But now she’s been exactly like your DD - was crying at bedtime saying she felt ill and ended up having diarrhoea twice before eventually going to bed.
I was also wondering if it’s just the same bug or has she caught it again from us having had it yesterday. Sad

@Snoopsnoggysnog aww poor thing. Weirdly DD hasn’t really had any other symptoms (apart from a reduced appetite on Wednesday), no diarrhoea (nappies have been totally normal), fever or anything and no one else has got ill.
I’m sure she’s fine, it’s just her first ever vomiting bug and I thought we’d finished with it.

Aww hope it passes soon. Obviously mine are a lot older but I do remember these things don’t always have a defined end point.
