Sudocrem for eczema.

Can anyone give advice if Sudocrem has worked for their child's eczema.
I've been using diprobase for a while now but there are some stubborn patches that never go away completely and keep flaring up.

I found steroid creams work for a few days at clearing them, but then as soon as I stop applying the creams they just come back.
Contemplating going back to the Dr's but don't see how much that would help as apparently diprobase is quite good. Sad

Sudocrem hasn't worked for us and I'm desperately trying to avoid steroids and so far what's worked is Aveeno Baby Dermexa, we use the Bath soap and the lotion daily (the latter more than once if eczema is particularly bad at that time). Normally the daily application is enough to keep it at bay. Good luck x

I don't think sudocrem works well with severe eczema. It's too thick to spread to the whole body for a start.

We've been prescribed with dermal cream, dermal bath emolient, and epaderm for my dc's eczema, and it seems to work for him. We are instructed to mix dermal cream+ Epaderm 50/50. He washes with dermal cream instead of soap.
We also have different strength of steroids, but rarely need it these days, if we keep up with cream every day.
Also my dc take daily probiotics, which seems to help a lot.

I have a couple of friends who find aqueous cream works really to clear up their eczema
