Gaps between vaccinations

Does anyone know if you should leave a gap between the Covid & Flu vaccinations? (I know there was talk at one point of administering them together pre winter, but if not done at the same time could it affect the way the immune system reacts?).

When going for my Covid vaccinations I seem to remember being asked if I'd had any other types of vaccination within the last two weeks.
My son turns 16 soon and was planning to get a Covid vaccination soon after, however we've just been told that they will have their flu vaccinations at school less than 2 weeks later.

Should we encourage him to hold off on the Covid one until a few weeks after the flu one? If he waits there might be more details re the 12-15 covid rollout too.

Last winter there was a recommended gap between covid vaccination and other vaccinations, as the covid vaccine was new and it was important that any side effects could be attributed to that vaccine and not any other. That’s less important this year as there is more evidence/data on covid vaccines.

In any case, the recommended gap was only one week, so an almost two week gap would be fine.
