Could this be chicken pox or am I panicking unnecessarily?

My seven year old has just developed some spots overnight, so far we have found a few on her face and on the underside of her arm. I will try to attach some pics. We are trying to establish what they are - we initially thought they were insect bites but they don’t itch. She has no other symptoms.
Just hoping it’s nothing as we have a holiday booked next week and the week after. She recently had Covid asymptomatically and had to isolate for two weeks, so we don’t really want her to miss any more fun stuff!

I would say it could be, but at this stage there are several other spots including viral rash/bites etc it could be. When I had chickenpox (as a student) they didn't itch at this stage so you can't go by that!

I'd wait and see tomorrow. It will almost certainly be obvious tomorrow. Either there will be loads more, or none.

Also if she has a contact with chickenpox it's more likely-but not certain, when i got it i have no idea where it came from.

Even if it is chicken pox, no need to panic.
I thought chicken pox was more present on torso?
They do look like mosquito bites...try an antihistamine like Piriton and if they go down, then you know insect bite not illness.
You could get Dr appointment to find out?

I think they look like bites or stings too. However, if it is chicken pox, you will know for certain in the morning. When ds had it, I noticed a single spot on his chest as I was getting him ready for bed. I thought it was just a zit and gave it no further thought. The next morning he was absolutely plastered in spots!

They could be bites but bites are often much redder around the edges. Give her a warm bath and see what happens in half an hour, the warm water brings the chicken pox rash out. If it’s bites, the best thing is hydrocortisone cream to calm down irritation and prevent infection.

Thanks all! She has had a fair few mozzie bites over the past few weeks and she found those different as they don't itch. I did check her torso and there were none, so hopefully that's a good sign.
I will wait until the morning. My main worry is that it could affect our holiday. But maybe it's just, as you say, insect bites, it is the time of year for it and we have all really been bitten.
Thanks again.

How is she puff ?
Thanks for asking! All is fine! No chicken pox, phew Grin. Panic over! Still don't know what those spots were but they have gone down a bit.
