Dd11 has lots on both big toes. We have tried to get rid of them with verucca plasters, duct tape, apple cider vinegar etc and nothing works. They go then come back.

She's quite embarrassed by them and wants them properly gone. How to get rid once and for all?

The best way really is to get the body to fight the virus that way you get rid of them and they dont tend to come back. The best way is to soak her feet in hot water then get the tweezers and literally dig around in there and pull out as much as you can, repeat often.

Tea tree oil applied neat every day, twice a day if possible. Will be home within two weeks. Worked for all of my kids.

Rosa · 20/06/2021 20:20

We always continue daily with Vinegar on cotton wool and taped for at least a week after the last black root ( that we can see ) has gone .

We went on for months and months with natural remedies and then bazooka: nothing worked. Then I saw a recommendation for the scholl pen on here. Two weeks later, there was absolutely nothing left of the verrucca - like it had never even been there!

The freezing stuff from boots, bazuka, and good old digging around. Or get them seen to professionally depending on the pain level.

Blooter · 20/06/2021 20:33

Yes the freezing stuff is really good but only the ones with the proper wand, not the pen nib type ones which I find never work.

womaninatightspot · 20/06/2021 20:33

I tried everything bazuka, vinegar, tape, wartner freezing spray eventually the nurse at gp's froze them off. Their freezing spray much more effective than the stuff you get in boots.

Twizbe · 20/06/2021 20:36

Pop along to your GP. They can freeze them off.

It's also worth having some tests done. There was a girl on embarrassing bodies once that had loads of verrucas on her feet. Nothing shifted them. Turned out she had some sort of immune system problem that caused it

Seconding the scholl treatment pen. Got rid of DDs VERY stubborn wart on her hand in one treatment (I didn't read the instructions properly abs so didn't apply every day like recommended) and it was gone ina week. She's had it for months and months and we'd tried most things.

klangers · 20/06/2021 20:55

Lots? Perhaps speak to your GP as in rare cases if there are lots it can be a sign of immune difficulties.

LouLou198 · 20/06/2021 21:02

Salactol wart paint. Available over the counter for about £3. Recommenced to me for my dd by a podiatrist. Apply every night, put a plaster over the top. It will take a few weeks but it does work.

Not many of them will do this anymore

funtimefrank · 20/06/2021 21:40

Ah thank you. So turns out dh had bought a bottle of the scholl wart/verruca stuff for a wart on his finger so when I told him about this thread said 'oh this stuff?' And whipped it out Hmm

We will try that now.

By lots it's like a little cluster of small ones - I remember having similar at her age. Think this a mosaic verruca? Will keep eye on it but generally she has the constitution of an ox and is very rarely ill in any way so I think just one of those things.
