Does this look like Chickenpox again?

Hi, my eight year old had chicken pox two years ago. Last night we noticed he has little spots on both sides of his neck, few on his stomach, underarm and back. Iv had a google and can't find what else they could be but he feels well and says they aren't itchy at all. Don't seem to have a blister on them yet.

Any idea what it could be or if it looks like chicken pox, if it is wel need to stay in obviously.

Yes it does look like it. Can always get the doctor to confirm. If they haven't developed immunity the first time, then subsequent cases tend to be much milder/less or not itchy (My DD isn't immune to it and has had it 5 times now, just gets blisters and under the weather, stopped itching by the third bout - Dr has confirmed each case as never realised it could be caught repeatedly

Thanks for replying, hopefully tour daughter and he doesn't get them again. My middle child's just due out of isolation tomoro from being a close contact now need to stay in for this if its chicken pox, not been the best easter hols.

Good luck! Hope he recovers quickly. That's a hard going school holiday!

It looks like my DD's case, diagnosed by a GP. She'd been vaccinated against chicken pox so she only got a mild case. The doctor said it's not uncommon to get it mildly even if you've had the vaccination or had it before.
