Vitamin doses - teens and adult vits

Just that really, I was looking for some multi vitamins for my 15yo DD and I’ve found either children’s vitamins (doses too low?) or adult vitamins that stipulate over 18. My teen is as tall as me and around 10kg lighter and has started periods/gone through puberty, would there still be concerns with adult doses of iron at this age?

Ditto for vitamin D, would there be an issue with a 200% adult RDA seeing as this is the period where she is laying down bone density?

Alternatively, are there specific vitamins for adolescents?

You get vitamins for teens

Ah! I’ve looked but not found any. I’m not in UK and it seems most brands just do adults (men or women) and over 50s.

Are adult vitamins damaging at this age though?

Nhs says this about vitamin d:

If you choose to take vitamin D supplements, 10 micrograms a day will be enough for most people.

Do not take more than 100 micrograms (4,000 IU) of vitamin D a day as it could be harmful. This applies to adults, including pregnant and breastfeeding women and the elderly, and children aged 11 to 17 years.

(Looks like anything between 10 and 100ug is ok)

I dont give my teens any other vitamins or iron as I figure they get them from food

Thanks. Yes mine eats fairly well, but what with the various lockdowns and school closures etc. she barely leaves the house, has stopped all sport and has complained of feeling tired, so I just thought I would give her a quick boost, even if it is only a placebo effect. I’m also worried about bone density as she refuses to do any exercise at all.
