Adult teeth not coming in after milk teeth knocked out

My DD knocked her two front teeth out when she was 3, she is now 6. She lost her two bottom front teeth last year and the adult teeth have come in. She has also lost her side incisors at the top and bottom - the bottom ones are just starting to come in but the top haven’t yet- all lost within the space of a couple of months. She had an x ray 2 months ago which saw that the two top front teeth were present. I’m just concerned that they have shown no signs of coming through and she has now lost all the side incisors, I’m worried there could be damage there. just wondered if anyone had experienced anything similar/why this could be and if it is cause for concern, thanks 😊

DS had an operation to bring one of his front teeth down. A gold chain was temporarily attached to the tooth to bring it down. He has lovely teeth now.

It is too early yet, they normally come through between 7 and 8. If the dentist has taken the time to x-ray them they are on top of the situation and obviously not concerned.

think you need to take her to an orthodontist

It's too early. Just because there is a gap doesn't mean the teeth will automatically grow into it, and to be honest, she's going to have these teeth for the rest of her life, so the longer they stay in the gums and protected the better! If your dentist was concerned they would refer her to a consultant.

I would say it's too early to worry my. My DD has already lost her two front teeth and the adult ones have come down and she's 7 but her cousins didn't lose their front teeth and get adult ones until they were nearly 9. Some kids in her class havnt got theirs yet either.
