Knocked out baby teeth!

Hi, my kids were mucking about at bedtime and I'm not sure exactly what happened as wasn't in the room but my 6 year old has had 2 teeth knocked out! Please tell me this will be ok! I'm sure they are baby teeth but they weren't quite ready to come out. Her gums bled but it's stopped now with tissues and cold compress. She seemed more in shock than in pain. Anyone else had this happen?

Awww. I'm sure she'll be fine! My brother knocked one of mine out during a fight, about that age. Unless there's excessive pain or bleeding I wouldn't worry, but give the dentist a ring in the morning to set your mind at rest.

The main question is, does the tooth fairy come when teeth are out due to mucking about?

They wouldn’t have come out unless they were ready. One of my sons front teeth wouldn’t come out and his adult teeth came through and pushed them out, so having them knocked out is probably better. If it’s before time, she could be without front teeth for a while.

Thanks! I think the tooth fairy is going to be leaving a generous amount tonight! Poor thing was so upset. I know whatever happened was an accident, I think they bumped heads. Hopefully, they'll learn a lesson from this and actually settle down at bedtime in future instead of this nonsense. She's just come down from bed to show me her other front tooth is really loose now. I suppose I'm a bit worried that as they weren't quite ready to come out, that she will have a long wait for the new ones to come in.
