Worms

Hi all.

My DD is nearly 7 (year 2). Ever since she started reception she has had worms about 6 times now. I treat them, they go, but come back after about 5/6 months. I've encouraged her to not put her fingers in her mouth, constantly wash them etc. She knows what worms are as she's seen them in her poo so she knows all about them and to keep washing hands no hands in mouth.

This evening before bed she informed me she saw worms in her poo. She had already flushed so I said I'd check on her next poo. She needed to go again after getting in bed and I check and there's a few worms. Told her I'd get her the medication tomorrow first thing.

My concern is, or any advice really please. She says she doesn't put her fingers in her mouth but she obviously does. This causes an argument. I encourage her to wash everyday down there but it starts an argument. She refuses me to wipe when I want to do it myself because it hurts. She ends up grabbing my hand and pushing me. I suggested wipes instead, we have the extra sensitive ones, I allow her to do it to wipe the worms away but she refused. She then said she wanted me to do it but then grabbed my hand and snatched the wipes away. She's such an angry person when it comes to washing she doesn't do it properly.

I'm a single parent, I cant afford to keep paying out.

She told me her friend had worms at school but I'm unsure what to believe, she said her friend showed her when she went to the toilet. Reason why I don't know what to believe is because she's constantly fibbing and making a bit palava and a bit of a drama queen, so and so tried taking my hand sanitiser at school, someone said they'd take my biscuit, so and so didn't play with me, you know the usual.

Not sure what I want to get out of this thread but any advice please? Creams don't work and I say they don't work I mean when it comes to wiping it off it between the gaps at bathtime/shower she won't wipe it properly. She stinks down there if she misses a day of washing.
