Growth plates on finger and hand bones

If you can see the growth plates on an X-ray of a teenager's hand, does that mean he's still growing and will be even taller?

No.

If their hand keeps on growing, they will not get any taller.

It’s possible, once the epiphyseal plates have hardened off and stopped growing they aren’t really visible on an X-ray. Average age for boys is 16-17.

If their hand keeps on growing, they will not get any taller.

According to that link, if hands haven't fused then knees, hips and pelvis are lonely to still be growing.
