Flu jab 1 year old

We had a phone call from the GP yesterday inviting my 1 year old (21 months) for a flu vaccine. As she’s so young it’ll be an injection and then another one in 4 weeks time. The receptionist told me that not all 1 year olds have been invited to have the vaccine. I’m guessing the reason my little one has is because she was premature.

I can’t seem to find out much information online about the flu vaccine for under 2s. Can anybody shed any light on this?

Above is American I think but gives the basic info.

U.K. leaflet here. Page 9 starts ‘ If your child is aged between 6 months and 2 years old‘

I don’t have any info, just my experience: my daughter had the jab before she was 2 and therefore eligible for the nasal spray. She had it due to having cochlear implants (she gets admitted to hospital if she has an ear infection, so they like to vaccinate against as many viruses that can lead to ear infections as possible). She was fine with it, no problems.
