That's just it, my daughter had three poos on Friday morning, last one sent really offensive and was sticky. Since then she hasn't had a poo and usually she's a once a day kind of girl. She's eaten three meals a day plus plenty of snacks/fruit and water, plenty of wet nappies but I'm concerned she hasn't gone yet. I have given her lactulose before bed time last night and we've had a really unsettled night tonight.

I was going to give her more lactulose tomorrow morning but how long do I leave it before being worried?

I've done the warm bath, tummy massage, bike legs etc

Thanks

DS gets constipation and he's now 6. He has had it since he was a baby and I was always on the phone to the health visitors when he didn't go for over a week. I got through alot of lactulose! I was told that it's common for babies to not poop for days at a time and not to worry as long as they're having wet nappies. DS was getting blood in the poop when he was going and they prescribed laxedo but he won't drink it as it tastes horrible. Now he goes every 3 days and the nurse said it's ok to give him lactulose twice a day.
It sounds like you're doing all the right things anyway so I wouldn't worry. She'll go soon I bet!
