Anything over 37.5 is a temperature. 39 is a high temperature, are there any other symptoms? And have you given any medicine?

That’s high, but would be a “normal” high temp for my DS iyswim - he has had temps of 41+ previously Shock

All kids are different. How is your little one acting/ other symptoms etc? That’s much more telling than the number on a thermometer.

39.2 is quite high. Think 38 and above is a temp. Unfortunately you will need a vivid test for that.

She has a runny nose and temperature tonight but seems ok otherwise.

There has been 3 Covid cases in her school but not in her nursery class. I’ve booked a test tomorrow.

A high temp and runny nose sounds like a cold. In Scotland parents were sent letters saying cold symptoms dont need tested. If you look up Jason Leitch you maybe able to find the video he did. Over 17500 children were tested in first 2 weeks back in school 49 were pisitive. It puts a huge strain on track and test.
