She doesn't drink cow's milk and I've tried all the ways to get her to drink it. Is this replacement okay?

Its very low in calories, fat and protein so isn't ideal. What was she taking before age 1?

LovingLola · 05/08/2020 18:11

What is her diet like? Are you concerned about her calcium intake?

zoidforth · 05/08/2020 20:33

She eats a lot!! I try to get all the calcium through cheese triangles, natural yoghurt amongst other things like broccoli and salmon etc. I just worry she isn't getting the milk. Before one she had Aptimal

Did you try gradually adding more and more cows milk to formula to introduce it gradually?

zoidforth · 05/08/2020 21:42

Tried but she was already going off formula

2-3 portions of dairy would give the required nutrients. There is a Alpro soya 1+ milk that is fortified for that age group. The other substitute milks are too low in fat, protein, etc for that age

I've only ever given my 6yo DD coconut milk and it's never been an issue. As long as your little one had an all round good diet they should be fine. The only thing I'll say is that Alpro is horrid - Koko is much nicer.
