Hi I’m new here and pretty much desperate for answers. My daughter developed a cough late May, she was struggling to breathe having some temps so took her to gp and requested Covid test to be safe. Covid was negative the gp said could hear crackles in the chest and put her on amoxicillin..there was no improvement and ended up in out of hours chest X-ray showing inflammation extra antibiotics given. On the last day of the course she was struggling to breathe and rushed to hospital with low oxygen levels around 88/89. Another X-ray the doc said results were similar to before they diagnosed with viral wheeze..

She is now on an inhaler which has reduced the coughing dramatically. But spiking temps every morning between 6-9am. I’m so confused and so is doc. She was admitted to hosp for week to check all bloods test for Tb Covid again and another X-ray. X-ray was same and tests all clear..they keep giving antibiotics but no difference.

Anyone else seen anything like this? She is completely fine during the day but every morning as she sleeps a drop in oxygen levels and fever/whimpering. I’m exhausted and struggling not knowing what is going on 😭😭
