High temp week after 1 yr imms

Hi guys, need some advice! DS has his 1 yr imms last Monday - 4 diff jabs including the mmr. He had been fine, temperature was never higher that 37.7 and he had been his normal self pretty much so didn't see the need to give calpol. He had quite large sore areas around all the jab sites the next day which got bigger and so I called 111 for advice - cut a long story short they said it was fine just a localised reaction. The redness started to go down considerably by Thursday anyway. Since last night he's had a temperature, it read 38.4 when I measured at 4am as he felt warm to touch but as he was asleep I left him to it. By the morning it was 38.8 so I have now given him calpol twice. It doesn't go lower than 37.8 though, should I be worried? Normally when he has a temp and I give him calpol the reading on the in war thermometer goes green but it's staying at amber today. Is it likely to be due to the mmr vaccine?

I’d give the out of hours/111 a call if it’s not lowering with calpol.

It's the second part of the vaccine, my DS reacted to each part of that vaccine when he had very minimal reactions to all his previous vaccines. Just dose your DS up and keep an eye on him, he'll be fine
