Pyloric stenosis

I'm at a total loss at what is wrong with Lo and his feeding 😞. 4 weeks ago he was taking 4-5 oz no problem, was sick with it but feeding fine. Now he refuses to drink more than 2oz, sometimes less but still goes 4 hours between feeds, I do try giving him more in between but he wont have it. Weve had gaviscon, omeprazole, yesterday doctor prescribed him similac which I'm trying now but so far no change. I sit in the kitchen with tap running to get him to drink more or he does take more if hes drinking while asleep but then he wakes and kicks off. Hes still got wet nappies and poos and is happy enough between feeds hes just not gaining weight at all. He is sick alot sometimes 3 houra after a feed so when I do get more down him, hes sick more.

Ive come across this pyloric stenosis which I think is quite fitting to his symptoms and just wondered if anyone had any experiences of it? One of the things that I've read can cause it is antibiotics in early life which he had as soon as he was born for pneumonia and sepsis. Hes now 8 weeks old, he was 8lb 12oz born and is only 9lb 15oz now and has stayed at that weight for the last 3 weeks now.

Also when I have found that his sickness is worse with powdered milk as opposed to ready milk abd was even worse with the anti reflux milk as that thickens the milk so will be harder to pass through the muscles to the intestine?

Thankyou

Babies with pyloric stenosis usually feed well, vomit, then are desperate for more food.

Yes I have read that but I though maybe it hadnt thickened quite so severe so os still getting some through and managing to keep some down. Enough to keep him full but not enough to gain weight?
