Dribble rash treatment please?

Hello, my 5m DS has a terrible dribble rash under his chin and at the top of his chest. Does anyone have any recommendations to help clear it up.

Over the last 24hrs it has started to bother him and he keeps touching the area especially after I put cream on him.

He has mild eczema and we use child's farm on him twice a day which is keeping that under control but the dribble rash is very sore looking.

Any advice is welcome! Thank you

Twice daily, gently wash the afflicted areas with warm water, then pat dry. Don’t rub, which can be irritating to already sensitive skin. Be sure your baby’s skin is completely dry. After washing, apply a thin layer of petroleum jelly. -taken from healthline.com

hope this helps!

Cavilon barrier cream is great for this. You can buy it or get it prescribed.

Aquaphor ointment.

A pharmacist recommended a thin layer of Vaseline as a barrier for my DS recently when he had a bad dribble rash. It cleared up really quickly.

Quick bath every morning and night. Thoroughly dry him under his chin. Then a thin layer of Sudocrem. Put a bib on him and change it frequently (every hour or so). Wipe his face and chin gently with a wet wipe a couple of times a day and reapply a bit of Sudocrem. My 8 month had an awful rash, this cleared it up in about a week.

Nipple cream worked for my youngest then any transference to mouth was safe healed it up really quickly.
