How to be healthier as a family

I'm worried about my preteen DD.
Her portion sizes are a little too large and she chooses carbs more than she should.
I'm a bit chubby too and had Eating disorders when younger and feel unable to make a healthy lifestyle. I don't even know why I'm typing this as I guess all people can say is make healthier meals and be more active. It feels very hard to do. I'm not sure why.

It's been really hard getting her to go out for walks every day. She has been doing lots of trampolining and gymnastics. She's very stubborn and headstrong so I can't persuade her to do anything. I also worry about emotional issues. When I try to suggest stuff she will say that I think she is fat and get upset.

I want to sort this out before it becomes a more overwhelming problems.

She's not hugely overweight but has a considerable tummy. I don't know what to do.

Please don't be horrible to be. I'm doing my best. I'm a single adult house and I have a boy who is a healthy weight too. She usually does gym in school time. No other real time for clubs as I work.

Limit sugary stuff, serve meals plated up so that she (and everyone else, obvs) gets a sensible portion, bulk meals out with plenty of veg. Don't comment on her weight/tummy etc. Don't worry too unduly about the level of exercise as long as she's doing some (trampolining and gymnastics are great). Weight is more about the food than the exercise.
