Could it be hay fever? (Small baby)

My baby is 10 weeks old and during lockdown we are going for long woodland walks daily. The last few days when we got back he has had really congested snuffly breathing. It eventually passes when he sneezes out a big snot. He definitely doesn't have a cold.
Neither me or my DH have hay fever but I know the pollen count has been high. Anyone experienced this? Could it be dangerous in a baby so young and should I stay out of the woods?
Thanks

Could be hayfever. Suggest you ring your GP or community midwife so they can suggest appropriate treatment.

It definitely could be. If you're concerned I'd stay out of high pollen areas

Both my babies did snuffly big snots! I know exactly what you mean! Mine just grew out of it. I didn't worry too much as they could breathe fine and weren't ill. I figured it was just a new baby thing? But do seek advice from hv or gp if worried.

I posted this during the week DD is ten weeks and constantly bunged up, doc thought it was cos she was a c section and was hanging on to the fluids but even at six weeks I didn't think that sounded right.
They don't give antihistamines to under ones anyway so in the current climate I'm not going back to her about it.
We got a humidifier for the bedroom which seems to help and use sterimar when she can't feed properly but I don't like it as her nose would have blood in it sometimes and I feel its the sterimar causing that.
