Hello,

DD is 6 and a half. She has just shown me her mouth. Please see the picture attached. Will the growing teeth (inside blue circle) be back in their proper place by themselves once the milk teeth fall out (they have just started being wobbly)? Do I have to take her to an emergency dental appointment somewhere to have those wobbly teeth removed? Please advise as I am really worried.

It's quite common to get the 'shark teeth' effect with the bottom front teeth. If the baby teeth are wobbly then that's a good sign. When they fall out the adult teeth should move into the gaps

Don’t worry. As her deciduous teeth are lost and her adult teeth are erupting, her teeth may frequently look out of place or jumbled. But as more of her adult teeth erupt her teeth will gradually align.
No need for an emergency appointment, just continue to attend regular checkups.

Thank you all so much for reassuring me! I really appreciate your input :)

Don't worry. Dd1 has a top tooth in which the adult tooth is fully through. The baby tooth is still in place, we did have an appointment with the dentist to have it removed (not at our regular dentist we required a referral) but it was cancelled. So certainly not being classed as an 'emergency'.
Before we had the referral put through I'd expressed concerns that the adult tooth was almost fully through and the baby tooth was still in place. Our regular dentist asked us to wait approx three/four months and go back if the baby tooth was still there.

@DeathMetalMum thanks for your input, good to know. I'll take her to the dentist as soon as they reopen for routine appointments and checkups.

No problem obviously I'm not a dental professional! But thought I'd share our recent experience.

@DeathMetalMum yes and it is appreciated, thanks!
