Teenage Acne

Has anyone got experience of teenage dermatology in UK and particularly during coronavirus? My dd started a treatment for acne almost a year ago with what they call the Modality Dermatology Clinic in Birmingham. (this is after the GP prescribed antibiotics didn't work). She has been asked to use another type of antibiotic and then Yasmin (which is a combined hormonal pill) and different topical creams but her acne always returns to what they describe as moderate acne levels, face, arms and back. Yasmin in particular has caused nasty side effects, panic attacks and low moods so discontinued. Today, we had a consultation over the phone and asked for Roaccutane which we know have helped some girls in her school. They were not keen to prescribe and asked for photos of when it flares up. Has anyone else had Roaccutane prescribed for their teen? How did they evidence the need - it's so hard remotely diagnose? I am worried the situation is causing too much anxiety for her and don't know how to help other than just saying 'it will go away one day' - doesn't seem to be helpful at all,
