Eczema - Kokoso baby?

Struggling with my toddler's eczema at the moment - I think being stuck in the house doesn't help matters, central heating and fibres etc
We have been trying to wean off eumovate with little success and now derm appts cancelled for foreseeable.
I think we need a new moisturising regime as epaderm, which has always suited her, doesn't seem to be working so well anymore.
Has anyone tried Kokoso Baby?

It hasn't helped my dd's eczema. Kokoso is just coconut oil, you can buy coconut oil cheaper in ethnic food shops/ethnic aisle in supermarkets.

I find with my dcs that I need to change creams every few months so have tried everything (!) .

Similar situation. Managing to keep under control, but regime not really working.

I thought it was a different grade @Astridd ?

Ah well I have some on order and will test it on a small area to see what happens

Try ZeroDerm ointment. It's much better than regular emollient for my eczema.

And yes you need to change creams every 6-12 months ish. They just stop working after a while, you can try the old cream again after a few years.

The specialist did tell me why this happens but I can't bloody remember!

It's literally just coconut oil, but more expensive because branded for babies.

15 month old Dd here and shes had some small patches for a month or so but over the past week her back has had a bit of a flare up.

This happened before when she was 6 months and I used Oilatum oil in the bath (bathing every other day), Dermal 500 cream (an aqueous cream, non greasy) applying liberally whenever I change her nappy to keep hydrated plus (bit of a miracle cure for us) Lanolin (Lansinoh) ointment, once in the morning, once (concentrating on very dry patches) early afternoon and once before bed.

It really worked before so hoping it'll work again now!

Hope that helps some OP Smile
