My son has had his vaccinations a week ago now, and he has got a slight temperature, no appetite but drinking plenty, very tired and is overall not himself he's being very whiny bless him. Is this a normal reaction? Has any of your little ones been the same after them?

He is teething now but he's already got four teeth and hasn't reacted at all off them when they have came through?

Thanks in advance. Smile

Yes, very normal and also normal to have the reactions to mumps and rubella at a delayed time (the measles reaction is usually a fraction later than seven days but it’s not uncommon). However, you will have to treat the temperatures as per government advice and quarantine for 14 days as a household now. That’s because you can’t be certain what is causing it.

Normal. My son was like this on day 7 then by day 10 had measles!

Gaaaaahhh. Mine had his injections on Monday. Both he and my 5 year old had very high temps on Tuesday so we are now in self isolation.

I forgot that it hits them about a week after. Hope we don't have to self isolate for any additional time....

Thanks everyone for the replies, I didn't realise how bad the reactions could be off them! My son didn't react too badly off any others but with these he's now vomited a couple of times and Just sleeping it off mostly, at least he is drinking fluids!
