Can anyone recommend a children's allergy test centre

We are in London but happy to travel wherever. We believe our dc has a dairy intolerance of some form and the school is trying to brush it off but she has a rash all over her face on days when it's obvious she's had things like lasagne or yoghurt/ice cream etc on that day.
Would like a diagnosis and also to pick up on any other allergies she may have.

How old is your child? If you do suspect allergy it may make more sense to start with a detailed food / reactions diary and go to the GP with this. They can interpret the findings and refer within NHS.

For dairy allergy, milk is more allergenic than more processed forms like yoghurts / cheeses. Does she get any symptoms from milk? Very rare for dairy allergy to start later than as a baby.

I'd be very wary of private allergy testing and particular of testing for things where there isn't an associated history. There is high potential for meaningless positive results.

Can you encourage her to wash her hands and face after eating? Some things can cause contact irritation to skin. Does she have issue with these food at home? And any tummy upsets? I would avoid allergy testing unless it is "skin prick". There is very little evidence based research behind the "high street allergy tests" methods.

Go through your GP and get a referral to your local allergy service.

Keeping a good food / symptom diary would be useful for when you talk to the dr.

Be aware that allergic reactions can become increasingly severe over time.

We saw Dr George Du Toit for our dd. Similar situation - couldn't get anyone to take us seriously for what turned out to be a serious milk allergy. He's a leading expert at St Thomas' but we paid to see him privately. He was excellent.

Thanks all. Getting an app. Is near impossible at my gp especially a convenient one for school and work but even outside of that my gp is terrible and does everything they can to shoo you out the door ASAP even when you finally do get an app. The receptionist even told me I had to see a nurse last time as there's a shortage of doctor. Fine except when I get to the nurse she says I have to see a dr! It's not easy for me to get out of work to get to an app. Thats is a waste of time anyway.

I have asked the gp when dd (6) was younger and they just said keep up with the dairy as the dc can grow out of it.
I've done that and it's just getting worse.

I get private appointments up to a certain amount paid for under work insurance so thought that's the best way to manage this. I do understand not all private allergy testing is secure hence my post asking if anyone knows a good one.
