She needs to be checked for a UTI by the GP.

My daughter has accidents when she is unwell or coming down with something. She's just 3

Got a drs appointment today, managed yesterday with no accidents but she was with me all day and I prompted her. She had an accident this morning, says she cant feel when she needs to go

Constipation?
Threadworms?
UTI?

dustyphoenix · 04/03/2020 09:21

See GP to rule out UTI, then ask for referral to continence clinic. She may have an overactive bladder which can cause those symptoms. In the meantime make sure she is drinking 5 cups of water or milk per day, cut out squash and juices and make sure you are prompting her to go to the toilet and gently encouraging her to change herself when she wets.

UTi check yes

Is she very tired/coming down with something? Mine both had lots of accidents when very tired.

Not to scare you, but this started happening to my daughter at the same age just before she was diagnosed with diabetes, the symptoms are the 4 Ts tired, thirsty, toilet and thinner, ask the GP to rule it out for you

Gp check up was fine and no accidents since Wednesday morning, dry all day Tuesday. Think she is just leaving it too long when she needs to go. Will see how we go.
