Multiple HDU admissions for ‘bronchiolitis’ in one year old

Hey, I’m really hoping I can find someone who has had/is having a similar problem with their little one and breathing problems, as we are at a loss now what to do....
Our little girl is 14 mo, she had her first admission for suspected bronchiolitis/rsv at 6 mo, since then she has had 9 hospital admissions, 3 of which have ended up critical on HDU/ICU. The symptoms are the same, the wheeze the cough the tug then the chest recessions. But each episode is getting worse and she is basically fighting for air/ breath 😫 when we go to a&e we get put in a ‘it’s another unlucky virus/bronch case’ box and left on Nebs for hours where she deteriorates every time. No one listens to me when I warn them how sick she can get, we just get forgotten about.
She has been on salbutamol since 6mo and is also on regular montilukast, I just don’t believe this can just be a virus?
Does anyone else have a similar story? What the diagnoses? DD is still in hospital now again on HDU l and I don’t want to be sent home empty handed again/palmed off, as I’m so scared this keeps happening 😫 xxx

My ds spent the first 10 months in /out of hospital with bronchilitis...
After starting off with whooping cough at a fortnight old.
He is now a strapping 18 and in the army!!
No lasting effects after that first year. No recurrences even in the winters...
Seems never ending op. Very stressful to deal with.

Hi, I'm sorry this sounds so stressful. I don't have direct experience of this but it couldn't hurt to write down a bulleted point timeline of everything you've written in your post and hand it to whoever is in charge of your daughter's care. Forcing someone to stop rushing around and read the history properly can be a good thing I think.

I hope she gets better soon and look after yourself OP.
