What are these spots?

My niece (7) developed a few weeks ago a round raised spot on her back. Then this smaller one has come in the last few days.
The bigger one itches and causes irritation but apart from that it's not causing problems.

Could they be warts or a cyst?
They are soft, raised, round and don't appear to have a head on them as if you could squeeze it.
It's just strange they've both come suddenly and without reason.
She's previously had chicken pox.

Any ideas?

Looks like they could be molloscum contagiosum. They’re surprisingly common amongst children yet seem to be relatively unknown. It took a while for a gp to finally diagnose my DS had them when he was younger. They are harmless and doctors usually advise leaving them to run their course but they can spread a bit around each other so you end up with a patch of them and they take bloody ages to go - 1 or 2 years! In the end I have to admit to squeezing one of my DS’s larger ones after he’d had them for so long but I think you can get various lotions that claim to resolve them.

They do look like Molluscum, both of my children had it and the only way we you rid of them was soaking cotton balls in apple cider vinegar and putting a plaster over the top at bedtime, they eventually turned black and went away. We found this out after battling them for over 18months

Molluscum. DS2 had it, it gives on its own in the end. Try to discourage scratching/picking because that's what spreads it

Some say you need to irritate a big one to stimulate the response that gets rid of them. They are highly contagious so she should use her own towels etc, it's worth putting a plaster over the irritating ones, as they spread.

Thankyou for your replies and advice. I've relayed this to my sis in law.
