DS can't seem to stop vomiting

It's 1am and he's just had to have another bath as sick was coating his hair and I'm at a loss so can anyone tell me if this is normal?

I had/have a tummy bug and despite everyone I know having it on the same day (it all started 2 days ago) DS finally seems to have it too. Only with everyone else (my family, mix of adults and kids) it seems a be sick once/twice thing. DS is 14 months old and the youngest baby in the family but is throwing up constantly. At least 4 times separately but I have a suspicion a few were two lots of sick that he just went back to sleep between as he does that. He seems to not be holding much down but is still happy having a boob so clearly wants milk. I'm just not sure if if I call 111 or something I'd be massively overreacting? I know kids get ill but I'm a first time mum and single mum too and nobody I could ask irl is awake!

Is it his first ever stomach bug? If so the first time always seems to be worse because his immune system has never come into contact with it before. If he's drinking that's great, dont push food just fluids, reintroduce food slowly and plain easy to digest stuff so as not to trigger a relapse, small children tend to relapse after seeming better when they're tummy's are sensitive after.

My whole family had Noravirus just before Christmas. It was horrendous. Sick every 20 minutes for 12 hours. My dd though went in for 4 days. She’s 20 months. At the hospital, they strongly recommended no food, but apple juice. They gave my dd a small carton and she literally drained it. Up until then, I’d been giving her water. Emergency dept said apple juice is great for tummy problems, it helps with the acids, reflux, blood sugars etc. My dd drank only apple juice for 4 further days and refused all food and water. Eventually she suddenly refused the juice and began eating again.

Thank you! He's still poorly today so in the morning I'll get apple juice!

I really hope he feels much better soon. Apple juice will help rehydrate him too. If you feel apple juice is too strong, you can always water it down. You don’t need an expensive one. Little cartons with straws are perfect.
