My daughter has had headaches for a few months, sometimes for days, we have already been to the neurologist and have tried everything we can to get it under control. I have the feeling that sometimes it's related to school stress and sometimes I have a guilty conscience because I can't always deal with it.

What did you find useful? What was your process to deal with it? Where did you get good resources? Anything I can provide her with that is helpful?

Have you considered food?
Chocolate, bread, and cheese (and wine, if she was an adult Smile ) might be contributing to her headaches.
Have you been able to keep a record of her headaches?

I’ve had headaches since I was about 8- i think basically when my hormones kicked in. I’ve tried everything and then some- had success with a diath piercing and various preventative medications (although they can make you groggy). If you’re in or near London it’s worth asking for a referral to St. Thomas’s migraine clinic. They’re the gold standard. Oh and as PP said, keep a diary. My headaches aren’t cured but after 30 odd years they are under control.

Where in her head does she feel them?
What time of day do they tend to start?
How long do they last?
Any associated symptoms? Joint pain/nausea/visual disturbance?
