Any dentists around? Child wobbly permanent tooth

DD1 lost her two bottom front teeth as normal save that she had ‘shark teeth’ for a while. Her new teeth come through ok at first, but as they’ve grown they’re looking discoloured and one of them is a little wobbly.

Anyone know why? And what do I do about it!?!

She brushes twice a day under supervision.

Take her to the dentist.

She’s going later in the month. But if it’s urgent I’ll need to pay for private.

Tell the receptionist it's an emergency, you shouldn't have to pay. I would consider this an emergency!

How wobbly are we talking? Teeth have some natural movement in them which can often feel 'wobbly' to a child

The discoloration looks like fluorosis to me, which is absolutely nothing to worry about.

BlueCornsihPixie · 28/10/2019 07:32

Has she knocked it either?

If she's not knocked it it's not an emergency

SalrycLuxx · 28/10/2019 07:33

It’s enough that I can see/feel it move a little. Could
It be that the teeth are too crowded?

What do I do about fluorosis?

No impacts so far as I know, and she doesn’t recall anything either

Crowding wouldn't normally cause a tooth to be wobbly

Take her to the dentist, she's probably going to need an x-ray to check nothing's going on with the root. It might just be normal movement so don't worry!

Ok. Thanks 😊
