Is that all they did? My son has been referred to physio because he might be hyper mobile they are apparently going to give him exercises to help him

I had hypermobility, I had a few physio sessions and was given exercises to strengthen ligaments. Ask your GP if there is a follow up available, is it actually something a podiatrist can diagnose? Maybe they need someone else to do referrals. Footbeds might help but probably the exercises will do the most good or a combination of the two. I was told it gets better with age, which has been true in my case although I'm still more bendy than my lack of stretching should justify!

High top trainers and ankle boots are good because they help prevent your ankle from going over.

My ds has hypermobility and he wears kickers boots. He has to carry a note from us around with him at school to say he wears them for medical reasons as they aren't allowed to wear boots at his school.
