Question on 8 week old's first immunisation

I have just been to get my 8 week old DD's first immunisation. She screamed during, but stopped crying quite quickly. She only cried for about 2 mins.

I've got her home, just fed her and she's fallen asleep. It's been less than an hour since her injections.

I was advised to give her baby paracetamol, which I've got but she doesn't appear to be in any pain. Should I give her it?

I know the meningitis injection can give sometimes give them a high temp. Don't know if I should give her some now or just wait and see how she goes? Any advice?

It's supposed to be given as standard with the MenB jab - 3 doses I think.

Yes she should have the 3 doses. It's the reaction between the menB vaccine and the tetanus vaccine that causes (or can cause) the fever.

Yes give it. My little one had a horrible temperature for 2 days after the men b ones even though I had given the calpol straight after. Best to get it in their system now. Hope she continues to be her usual self for you!

Yes I deffo would it normally takes a couple of hours for side effects to start showing anyway or at least it did with my little one it's best to just give them it to prevent it being worse later on. Also when next injection is due I was advised to give calpol twenty mins before the appointment to get a head start

Thanks for the responses. I gave her it. She's sleeping like a log.
