I just wanted to know what others would do.
My son (5 yrs) had his Diptheria-Tetanus-Pertussis booster (Boostrix) yesterday morning. He was given a thorough once over by the GP before he was given it (listened to chest, heart, looked in throat, checked glands) and was declared fighting fit. During the night he started vomiting and now has a temperature of 102.
It looks like a run of the mill sick bug (if they can ever be described like that), but the timing rather bothers me (as in given clean bill of health, vaccinated, now vomiting and temperature). He has never reacted before to any of his jabs.
I thought I would wait until Monday and then phone the GP but now I am wondering whether you should take them to see someone earlier if these symptoms appear after a vaccination.
