Trip to Pakistan and worried for kids health

Hi all beautiful moms out there. I'm traveling to Pakistan in the end of October with my kid (3 years old) and an infant (16 months old) I'm really worried for their health because of the water quality there. My both kids really love milk and yoghurt and I'm unsure what to do because all that I've heard is their milk is contaminated with very high doses of oxytocin ( injections to increase milk production) and because of that the live bacteria in yoghurts just make their tummies worse. I'm so lost at to what to do and how can I keep my kids safe throughout. Any tips would be highly appreciated.

Could you take long life milk or formula with you? And some children's probiotics? Stick to bottled or boiled water and hot cooked food, and fruit you can peel. How long are you going for? Staying in a hotel or with family?

I'll be staying with my family for 2 months. Any recommendations for probiotics?

Salaam,
IA it will be alright! been said that, formula milk is a good option at least for early few days. Stick to mineral wall if possible for whole period (Nestle preferably) or always boiled water is good to. Eat only at designated/ renowned places (also at least for few days). In pro-biotics Culturelle, Garden of Life Raw Pro-biotics could work. Start them here so their body is already used of them. We hope wish and pray for your safe trip. :-)

I can't help - just wanted to say how much I enjoyed my visit to Pakistan in June, stunning scenery, fascinating culture, lovely food and warmth of welcOne

I hope you enjoy your time

That's so good to know but with kids it's a completely different story.... hopefully I can come back writing the same like you 😍 fingers tightly crossed

They'll get ill whatever you do. No point worrying. It's just the deal you make for going over... If you are there for 2 months hopefully they'll acclimatise. And getting mine to take malaria tablets was near impossible - had to give up after a while - literally wouldn't swallow the tablet.

It's hard to be strict if you're visiting other family members etc to restrict the food they eat.

I'm going to get our vaccinations done in a week's time. I've already put into their ears kids food routine and they have been stocking up on water etc already
