Before I start can I just say I've already spoken to my doctors and they have given me an appointment this evening.

My DH says she has had diarrhoea this Morning but seems fine in herself. I've just walked in from work and she's bright as button but went to the loo and produced this !

She did have a history of stomach problems 2 years ago and had h pylori and we were under gastro.

The only thing I think she could have had to be that colour is 10ml of sambucol and a bowl full of blueberries this morning.

I'm panicking a bit and wondering if I should not wait for the appointment and go straight to the children's hospital.

I've just googled blueberry poo and it looks similar, she did eat a lot.

I wouldn't worry if she is feeling OK, my daughter tends to have weird colour poops depending on what she has eaten... It is a bit runny but maybe it's just the amount of blueberries she ate clearing out her stomach.

Blueberries turn poo really dark! My toddler loves them and eats them a lot, and the effect on his bowels is dramatic.

Thankyou

It wouldn't occur to me to do either of those things at this stage tbh.

If she is well in herself isn't it more likely to be caused by what she has eaten?

I have health anxiety due to losing a dd suddenly from sepsis.

I've had it under control but sometimes my brain goes into panic mode a bit when something a bit unusual happens.

I rarely panic anymore it just shocked me, when she shouted me to look.
Sorry I know it sounds like a I'm a loon I sometimes overreact for ten minutes then think logically.

I'm sorry OP, I hope my comment didn't come across as dismissive. I hope your DD is ok and the GP can put your mind at ease

I'm so sorry about your daughter, OP Flowers Hope your other DD is fine, I'm sure she will be. We're used to the blueberry poos here now but I got a shock the first time I saw one!
