mild toothpaste

My 10 yo son finds adult toothpaste (Colgate etc) too minty. Is it ok for him to use Aquafresh kids' toothpaste which says it's for 6-8 years but has 1450ppm fluoride?
Or does anyone know of a toothpaste that is less minty but which offers max protection?
Many thanks

Dd used to use sensodyne pro enamel (light green top) she used to gag with mint this is a mild mint/vanilla flavour.

there's a mild mint kids toothpaste in Wilkinsons - I think it's 1450. V mild and I used to use it for my boy who hates strong mint

My DS uses the sensodyne one as well - no complaints and he's rejected loads of others for being "too spicy" Grin

There is a completely tasteless one you can get on Amazon - we've had that too and that was also fine, but pricey.

1450ppm is the same as most adult toothpastes, so it will be fine to use.

Dd grew out of it we use aquafresh now and it isn't too "spicey" 😁

That's so funny - my son says it's too 'spicy' too. Thanks all for the recommendations.
