Should I be worried?
DD was twisting her tooth (which has been wobbly for ages) in the bath. It came out, but it is assymetrical, jagged at the bottom and looks like it's broken off. DD is really excited, but I'm a bit concerned about the bit of tooth that must be left in her gum. Will it work its own way out? Or is a trip to the emergency dentist needed?
Has anyone had this happen to their child?
What I feel really, really terrible about is that the tooth did have some signs of plaque/decay and she's overdue for a dentist appointment.
we are really careful about brushing (though maybe focused on the back to the detriment of the front) and she rarely drinks anything other than water.
It's a front tooth, and the "bad patch" is sort of chalky (not brown). I suspect this has contributed and I feel awful. It's her first wobbly tooth.
