Prescription sunglasses for toddlers

Hey, my nearly 3 year old wears glasses and we are wanting to get her a pair of prescription sunglasses for the summer. I’m very aware that we will probably need to pay for these ourself as the hospital only fund one pair. However, my husband is keen to get her something quite stylish... do any of you have any recommendations on where to go? Boots, specsavers, vision express etc don’t seem to cater for toddlers and the selection is very limited. My daughter is also very petite so is also smaller than the average toddler. Thanks in advance!

We always go for reflectalight lenses with slightly bigger frames. One pair of glasses - two jobs. Also remembering to change over to sunglasses, bring them with you etc is a PITA.

Thanks. I did consider these but have been advised against them due to her age. We have an eye appointment tomorrow so will see what the hospital offers but wanted to see what the options were before we go.

Specsavers are usually good for kids as you get two pairs for the NHS voucher

I actually wouldn't worry about sunnies at that age. If you're going through amblyopia treatment (for a lazy eye(s)) you don't want to reduce the stimulus going to the bad eye - which will happen if you have a sunglass tint.
