Frequent blurred vision

My 14yo dd has just told me that every few days, one of her eyes goes blurry for about a minute. She described it as two thirds of the vision out of the affected eye as being clear but about a third being blurry. It can happen in either eye. She said its been happening for ages.

Do you think this one for an optitian or the GP?

For context, she has had 2 or 3 full on migraines with visual disturbances but not for a year or so and these were always brought on my running really hard.

Definitely an optician first - they can refer you elsewhere if they can't determine the cause. If you see your GP first, they'll just get you to have an eye exam.

BTW - if you're in the UK children's eye tests are free on the NHS
