Those with older bedwetters- when did it eventually stop?

Ds is 12 almost 13 and still wetting what I would call regularly. We’re not stressed at all by it and he has lovely friends and school that are supportive when needed but I’m just looking for a little light at the end of the tunnel. I’ve been reassured it will stop soon enough but even friends that were late getting dry are sorted now and we’re starting to feel quite lonely!

Give me hope please!

I wet the bed pretty much nightly until I was about 14 - tried everything but nothing worked. Eventually it began to tail off until I was only having the odd accident but it was still happening without reason in my later teens and any alcohol and I was guaranteed to the wet the bed. Then during my first pregnancy the nightly bed wetting came back and lasted until DD was about a year old. It still happens occasionally now, especially if I’m having a drink Blush

DD is 5.6 and still wets the bed, I know it’s hereditary but I’m hoping that she stops at a younger age than I did as I feel like it ruined the social side of my childhood and teens in terms of sleepovers/ school trips etc as it caused so much anxiety and I was teased about it on the times ‘friends’ found out.
