How were you LO's after receiving there vaccines at 1 years old?👶🏻What happened after? Did they get any symptoms? Fever?🌡Did they have to go to A&E? Did they become any different? Just looking for personal experience you've gone through so I know what to expect. I do anyway but it's better hearing off other mums directly what they went through and how it was👩‍👧👩‍👦

All fine but at the 12m one she got a high temp and was poorly for a few days, less layers and calpol and she was ok, little clingy.

My eldest is almost 4, so has had both doses of the MMR, and only got a slight temperature after, and calpol brought it down.
Youngest has multiple allergies (including eggs) so was advised to have his 1 year MMR done at the hospital as a precaution. He was absolutely fine, got the same fever as his sister, but also came out in a slight rash after a few days, but that can be very common apparently!

My DS was absolutely fine Smile get some calpol and nurofen in

I'm watching this with interest, my daughter just had her MMR too and the leaflet regarding side effects is a bit hair raising! Grumpy and some diarrhea but other than that so far so good.

Interestingly the nurse said that other than immediate allergic reaction, the symptoms typically take around a week to show up, so now it's just the waiting game I guess!

Hi all,
I'm a nursing student and i'm currently doing an assignment on why parents are choosing not to vaccinate their children against MMR, and I was wondering if anyone on here has decided not to vaccinate their children and if they would be willing to tell me your experiences and opinions on this subject. Thank You

One of mine got sick about a week after. Vomiting and temp but nothing very worrying. She also had a bad reaction to BCG.

Boosters etc and HPV later in life no issues.

@cazzyj you need to start your own thread not post on an old one.

Hi All,

I am carrying out research into vaccination, and social influence for individuals to vaccinate or not to vaccinate children/themselves. As well as trust in medical advice.
This is the link if anyone has time to complete would be much appreciated!!
