How much sick is too much sick? Three month old. (photo)

My three month old son isn't usually sick often. Between once a week and once a fortnight. When he is sick, it's a colossal volume. Heaving over and over again. I just have to hold him until he's finished...
Yesterday, he had his second round of vaccinations. I am unsure whether this is related.
He was sick at midday while at a baby group, completely soaking my outfit to the point that my mum needed to bring me a change of clothes down to bra and knickers.
He was sick again at about 6, covering the kitchen floor.
He was sick again about ten minutes ago. Photo is attached.
He doesn't have a temperature, is feeding a normal amount, normal amount of wet and dirty nappies, totally cheerful afterwards.
Is it normal? The ladies at the baby group were all appalled at the quantity, which makes me feel like it's not normal. He doesn't seem hungry afterwards, despite ostensibly emptying the entire contents of his stomach.

My dd used to throw up like that. If you're concerned speak to 111 or the GP? You said he had his vaccinations yesterday so could be related or could just be a sick bug or something. If he's eating and drinking, no temperature and is quite happy I wouldn't worry. I would keep an eye on him because they can decline rapidly if they are poorly.

Does he seem uncomfortable at any time? I would have thought an intolerance or allergy to milk would make him sick every day...
What about volume of milk? Does he always have the same amount of milk?

If you're breastfeeding does he seem to vomit after you eat a specific food?

He's breastfed so I can't be sure how much he's drinking.
I haven't eaten anything different to normal? Maybe I'll cut milk from my diet and see what happens.

Does he spit up as well, ie small amounts regularly?

Me and my friend use to joke we needed towels for our babies not muslins and I'd always carry an extra top for me as well as a change for DD. Both our DD's had reflux.
Luckly DD grew out of it once she could sit up at six months, for some babies it takes longer.
The important thing is that they are happy, hydrated, still gaining weight. If that is the case then the doctors don't tend to worry to much.

I never tried to cut out dairy but if you do be ware it will need to be all milk/butter and anything in food, it can take up to 4 weeks to clear your system completely.

Mine used to do exactly this, usually if his tummygot slightly over full. I was always just horrified at the sheer volume of it. He continued to do it occasionally until he was just over 2. His stomach was just too small to cope with much. It could be that yours picked up a bug from the waiting room when going for vaccinations though?
