Mouth ulcers in 5 year old

Hi all
I've noticed over the last few weeks that my 5 year old ds has had a number of mouth ulcers appearing on his bottom inside lip. I've never noticed any before. He seems well in himself and he eats healthily and has a multivitamin daily. His teeth are perfect so don't think it's to do with that. Is it worth raising with a doctor/dentist? Anyone experienced anything similar with their dc?
Thanks

My sister had recurrent mouth ulcers as the first sign of coeliac.

My DD has recurrent mouth ulcers, they were one of the first signs she had an auto immune disease. They had been going on for years before any other symptoms started. If you really have concerns it may be worth a visit to your GP.

Don’t suppose you ever notice him chewing inside of his lip? Mum DS did for a while...

I developed constant mouth ulcers when I was eating a new food that I turned out to be allergic to.

Hmmm might be worth getting him checked then. Like I say he seems perfectly healthy otherwise. Think I'll give it a week to see if anymore appear and then if they do I will book an appointment for him. Thanks

My dd has recurrent mouth ulcers. It was the first sign that she had a periodic fever syndrome (aka auto inflammatory disease).

My 5 year old son has had constant mouth ulcers over the past few weeks about again he is well in himself. Dentist told me to take him to the doc as it can be a sign of chrones disease but when i spoke with the doc she didn't seem to concerned because he didn't have any other symptoms. I'm still worried tho 🤔
