Oxygen monitor for children?

My DD who is 3.5yrs has inhalers but hasn't been diagnosed as having asthma but I suspect she will at some point, she's had a couple of hospital visits after her sats have dropped below 90.
She gets a very barky cough and breathless when she gets a cold and I'm wondering if it's worth getting an oxygen monitor as it's difficult to judge if she needs to be seen by the doctor.

Any suggestions/recommendations on one that is good for children?
There are so many online.

Have you seen chest medicine or a pulmonary doctor? They can help you figure out what the issue is. DD’s chest medicine team are very helpful when she gets a asthma attack. If there is asthma the chest medicine unit can help.

My dd has asthma, diagnosed as a toddler. I bought a fingertip oximeter when she was little because she was ill so often and i was very anxious.
I didn't end up using it that much because I got better at assessing dd's condition over time.

Highly recommend the Contec OLED paediatric probe. Choice of pink or blue on Amazon. We’ve had ours for a few years now, and it has proved invaluable. On one occasion our daughter developed very low SATs shortly after discharge. We rang the ward and they assumed it was our monitor that was the problem, so asked us to return and bring the monitor with us to check it against theirs. It correlated exactly, and after a few more tests she was readmitted.
