All my kids have been ill lately!

My youngest is still getting fevers at some point everyday. She had antibiotics that finished a week ago. They go with a look, she has periods of the day she’s fine but at some point she’ll be very upset and feverish. Last night she had chills and an awful night, Sunday she was vomiting with fever. Very mild Tuesday though. Right now she seems ok.

No runny nose etc or cold signs. Antibiotics were for ear

For a recurring fever with no other obvious signs, you should see your doctor. Our daughter had this a few times, and very similar to this. Just before Christmas she had over 3 weeks with intermittent mild fever, and it was only when she made a sudden decline and became very unwell with shivering rigors, that she was admitted and found to have a kidney infection. Fever means the immune system is fighting something..and if it’s not obvious as to what it is..I would speak to your GP.

My ds has similar at the moment. He had a temperature virus in mid January which seemed to pass after a few days, then started again with a fever last week. It’s still coming up a few times a day, and doctors can see no apparent reason for it. We’ve seen 3 different doctors now. They will run further tests at the weekend if it doesn’t resolve.
There have been lots of children off at my sons school with temperatures but they all seem to resolve quickly.
I have health anxiety and am in absolute bits worrying that this is something terrible.
